Bert Weir (1925-2018)In 2013 Bert did paintings of the irises growing in this boggy patch in his regrowth back forty (10, actually). We had tried to get willow growing here but they did not take. This year we will be planting 6 tamarack in this spot as Bert's contribution to the 'plant one tree for McKellar' initiative.

Robert Andrew 'Andy' Muller (1943 - 2021)
In memory of the brother of a dear friend, we are planting 6 tamaracks along a very wet fence line. His favourite trees were Butternut but they do not grow here so tamarack it is.
